DREAMers DACA renewal

June 17, 2014.   Immigrants who entered as minors and pursued schooling or military service in the U.S. can renew their DACA deferred action status and work permit anywhere from 150 to120 days before they expire, and avoid deportation proceedings.

If you have had any problem with the police you need to consult a lawyer prior to renewal to make sure you are still eligible for DACA.

If you never applied for the DREAMers DACA deferred action for childhood arrivals, you may still do so, as long as you meet all the initial requirements (please check my previous post on the issue).
